Ironbridge has an international reputation for interpreting early industrial history. The Gorge was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. The site consists of seven museums.

Blists Hill Victorian Town is one of the largest open air museums in Britain. Here, costumed staff give a warm welcome and fascinating insight into life in Victorian times.

The Darby Houses are the former elegant homes of the Darby's, a Quaker family.

Coalport China Museum is home to the National Collections of Caughley and Coalport china.

Enginuity is a new interactive design and technology centre.

The Iron Bridge is known around the world as a symbol of the iron-led revolution that originated in the area. An exhibition about its history is in the original Tollhouse.
